“Cockroaches, bed bugs, absolutely filthy rooms in a state of disrepair. Holes in walls, floors slippery with grease, 100 cigarette burns in comforter, chair upholstery caked with black filth.”

“What makes this place wonderful is the peaceful quiet next to the river. Meagan was a great host and seeing her informal sanctuary for goats, ducks, and chickens all living the dream is heartwarming. I REALLY enjoyed kayaking the horse creek (one direction leads to the larger Peace River) seeing Spider Lilies for the first time and I didn’t encounter another soul on the water! I stayed in “the boathouse” cottage and while the shower was tiny the space was neat, clean and had everything needed...
